1) what exactly is Esotera?
Esotera gives small businesses the technoogy to back up their data. safely and securely, without any complex setup or technical expertise. Users work with almost no sign that Esotera is there. They just plug in our USB stick, and that stick becomes the gateway to their files, which are safely encrypted, sliced, and stored on secure servers. If the computer gets stolen or the hard drive crashes, they just plug in their USB stick to another computer, type in the password, and... there are the files!

2) what is a dataGuy?
A dataGuy is a smiling dream-come-true for small businesses wondering how to protect their data. You arrive at a new client, spend just a few minutes to explain the process and set them up, and then you're on your way. You just leave each customer with their USB stick and your smile, and in many cases that will be your only visit until you drop by again a year later just to see how they're doing!

3) how would I make money as a dataGuy?
Each client pays a monthly fee as long as they use Esotera. You receive a percentage of each month's payment from each customer you set up, for as long as you both stay with Esotera!

4) how would I find new customers?
We conduct an ongoing marketing program in your area to generate interest, and provide you with templates to create your own marketing activity. We offer guidelines and materials, but allow you to generate your own programs.

5) how is Esotera different from most
     direct selling or franchise opportunities?
Esotera gives you the best of both worlds. You get support materials and a solid structure to help you work, but at a small fraction of the cost of most franchises. Think of it as your franchise alternative!

6) what training do I need?
If you are comfortable in using a Windows computer to find files and access basic programs, then you're almost ready now! We provide any extra training and some sales pointers, and you're on your way.

7) can I hire other dataGuys to work for me?
Absolutely. This is where the real value kicks in. You earn a percentage on each sale that each of your dataGuys make, month after month. Every time they earn, you earn. And it just keeps growing.

8) what happens if one of my dataGuys quits?
You still retain your monthly portion from their current customers, as long as those customers remain active.

9) do I have to buy a monthly inventory?
There is no monthly inventory to buy. We do set sales targets, based upon your territory and other factors agreed upon up front, and then expect each dataGuy to maintain those targets. But you only buy more USB sticks as you need them.

10) what is my startup cost?
Costs vary depending upon several factors, but are generally less than $1,000. Esotera is the business opportunity you've been looking for!
